Students should continuously look online at the Guidance section of the RCS website, www.romecatholic.org, for updates on new scholarships to apply to. Students can find scholarship applications in the Guidance office. Keep a close eye on deadlines!
American Legion Auxiliary Scholarships
Amount: $1,000-$2,000 each
Deadline: March 1, 2012
Description: There are 7 different scholarships with different criteria but all do require that seniors must be daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, sons, grandsons or great-grandsons of veterans of WWI, WWII, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama or the Persian Gulf. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $50-$500
Deadline: April 3, 2012

First Source Credit Union Scholarship
Amount: 12 $1,000 scholarships awarded
Deadline: May 1, 2012
Description: Must be member students planning on attending on of the following colleges in the fall 2012: Hamilton College, HCCC, MVCC, SUNY IT, Utica College, Utica School of Commerce. More information and applications can be found at www.fsource.org .
Rotary Club of Rome, NY Scholarship
Amount: $1,000 annual scholarship
Deadline: May 4, 2012
Description: This is an annual scholarship for a graduating senior who will be attending an institution of higher learning next fall. See Mrs. Nebush for more information on how to apply.
Bank Of America Helen H. Townsend Scholarship
Amount: $???
Deadline: May 10, 2012
Description: An annual scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who are residents of the City of Rome or the towns immediately contiguous to it. Students must be attending universities, colleges or institutions of higher learning, be a person of good character, good scholastic achievement, and one who requires scholarship assistance due to financial need. Berkshire Bank Foundation Scholarship
Amount: $2,000
Deadline: March 28, 2012
Description: Those applying must be a graduating senior with a record of volunteerism in the community, participation in extracurricular activities, minimum GPA of 3.0, a total family annual income of under $75,000 and plan on attending a 2 or 4 year college or technical school. Buick Achievers Scholarship Program
Amount: Up to $100,000
Deadline: February 29, 2012
Description: Those applying must be a graduating senior who plans on enrolling full time at a four-year college or university in 2012/2013 and who plan on majoring in a field that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest in the automotive industry. 2012 AES Engineers Scholarship

2012 Blanche & Fred Griffith Scholarship for Nursing

American Society of military Comptrollers, CNY Leatherstocking Chapter

The Varflex Educational Foundation II Scholarship Program
