Key Club Book Buddies promote literacy during the summer.
Key Club is a coeducational service organization for high school students, organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club. It is a self-governing organization and elects its own officers, determines its own service activities, and establishes its own dues structures. Its Objects include the Objects of Kiwanis. Rome Catholic Key Club is sponsored by the Lake Delta Kiwanis. It has participated in American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Cropwalk, Red Cross Food Drive, March of Dimes, Rome Catholic Fish Fries, Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army, Kiwanis Christmas party, Christmas caroling at local nursing homes, Rome Pumpkin Festival, etc. The Key Club also collects tabs from soda cans to benefit the Shriners organization. The Rome Catholic Key Club is self-supporting. Throughout the year it participates in several fundraising activities.
